Solar Rebates
Federal Rebates
The Federal Government’s Renewable Energy Target supports two main incentive programs for solar power, differentiated by the installation size. These incentives are available to everyone, including those upgrading their existing solar systems.
Small Scale Renewable Energy Schemes (STCs)
STCs apply to solar power systems.
Solar Power
Eligibility: Systems under 100kW, for both residential and commercial use.
Incentive Type: Point-of-sale discount.
Value Determination: Based on system size (total panel size) and the current value of STCs, which are tradeable like shares.
Price Stability: Prices have remained stable since mid-2018, though they have fluctuated significantly in the past. The number of certificates will decrease annually over the next 13 years starting January 1.
Geographical Influence: Your rebate rate is influenced by your postcode, as Australia is divided into five rebate zones.

What are Solar Rebates and How We Can Help
Navigating the array of rebates and incentives available for solar power, hot water upgrades, and battery systems can be overwhelming. Solar rebates are financial incentives provided by governments, utilities, and other organizations to encourage the adoption of solar energy. These incentives are designed to make renewable energy more accessible and affordable by reducing the upfront costs of installing solar energy systems.
Below, you'll find detailed information on the specific rebates available to you.
